Over the past decade, ATHANASSIOU S.A. expanded in the wider sector of fast-moving consumer goods, focusing mostly on food and confectionery products.
Following a successful course up to now, we aspire to grow further so that we can soon get established as the best distributor in this field as well.
The company has an effective, efficient and knowledgeable commercial structure to show, which places particular emphasis on the excellent execution of business plans for the point-of-sale (Execution Excellence). We design and develop marketing strategies and business plans along with our partners in order to achieve an increase in the market share of brands in a profitable way.
These are designed in collaboration with the Customer Marketing Department of the company, which also realises the respective action plans and evaluates them after their completion. To achieve market coverage, the Sales Department pays particular attention to the distribution strategy (Availability), the proper placement and display of products on the shelf and special promo points (Visibility), the assurance of product quality on the shelf (Quality), the effective implementation of in-store promo activities (Promotion), as well as the sufficient product Advocacy in front of trade and consumers.
ATHANASSIOU S.A. possesses fully organised systems for each stage of the supply chain – for the management, transport, distribution and promotion of goods.
The operations of the company are supported by well-organised departments of Customer Service, Credit Control, Financial Services and Information Systems (IT).
